Delete your WOVAN account
Last updated 2026-10-22
WOVAN is a family screen time and safety app operated by Two Threads Collective, LLC. This page explains how to delete a WOVAN account and its data, and what happens when you do.
Guardians: delete it in the app
- Open WOVAN and tap the gear icon at the top right of the home screen to open Account.
- Tap Delete Account, then confirm.
This deletes your login and your record in the family straight away, and cancels any invites you sent. It doesn't delete the other guardians or the kids in your family. To remove a kid, press and hold their name on the home screen and tap Remove.
Teens, or anyone without the app: ask us
Email hello@getwovan.com with the subject "Delete my WOVAN account", from the email address you sign in with. Tell us whether you want just your own account deleted or your whole family's data. We'll reply to confirm before we delete anything, and again once it's done. A parent can ask us to delete the data of a child under 13 the same way.
What is deleted
- Your login: your name, email address and password.
- Your record in the family, including your phone number if you're a guardian.
- Invites you sent, and any place you are listed as someone's emergency contact.
- For a kid who is removed or whose data is deleted: their record, their devices and the information those devices reported, including any Android app information described in our Privacy Policy.
What is kept, and for how long
- SOS alerts and the family's activity history that mention you stay visible to the rest of your family until they are deleted automatically, 90 days after they happened.
- Backups: deleted data is gone from our backups within 35 days.
- Crash reports never contain your name or email, and are deleted automatically by our crash-reporting provider.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy. Questions: hello@getwovan.com.
